According to information from the regional Ministry of Health, a myasthenia gravis treatment room will be equipped in Vladimir Hospital No. 5. This decision was taken following a meeting with the administration of the aforementioned hospital. The care of patients with rare diseases of the peripheral nervous system will also be concentrated in the hands of doctors from the city’s Fifth Hospital. In this regard, the Ministry of Health has already purchased a new device – an electroneuromyograph.
The main message of all this is that patients with such diagnoses should be under the control of experienced doctors who have certain skills in the treatment of this disease. It is important that these patients have the opportunity not only to be cared for at home, but also to undergo rehabilitation without leaving the 33 regions.
