IPL2023: Lucknow-Chennai match date changed due to elections.

Mumbai The date of the 46th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Lucknow Supergiants and Chennai Super Kings has been changed from May 4 to May 3.

The IPL said in a statement released on Monday night that the date has been changed due to the municipal elections to be held in Lucknow on May 4. There is no change in the timing of the match and the match will start at 3.30 pm.

Under the captaincy of KL Rahul, the Lucknow team is second in the table with six points from five matches. Lucknow will take on Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans before taking on Chennai. Rahul’s team will host Royal Challengers Bangalore on May 1, after which they will face Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s team on May 3.
