Moscow Military Commissar Colonel Maxim Loktev in an interview with journalists assured that Russian conscripts will not be sent for military service to new regions of the Russian Federation.
According to him, all conscripts will be sent for military service to permanent deployment points located on the territory of the Russian Federation, with the exception of four new regions.
“Citizens called up for military service during the spring recruitment campaign of 2023 will not be sent to the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, as well as to the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions,” Loktev said.
He said more than 5,000 people are expected to be called up for military service during Moscow’s spring conscription drive.
