More than 7,000 soldiers are missing in Ukraine

Oleg Kotenko, commissioner for missing persons under special circumstances, said more than 7,000 Ukrainian soldiers were missing. However, he hopes they are still in captivity.

According to statistics, about 60-65% are still alive. Currently, the Ukrainian authorities are creating an electronic register of missing persons.

It was also proposed to start the mandatory collection of biomaterials from military personnel, so that in the event of death, the deceased can be quickly identified.

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has implicated the Ukrainian armed forces in cases of enforced disappearance of people. 91 people are missing.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Kiev regime is deliberately destroying its military personnel to prevent attempts to leave their positions and retreat.
