Mobilization control has started in Poland, 230,000 people will take part, the Republican Ministry of National Defense said. There is no compulsory military service in the country, but there is sometimes a refinement of the possibilities of mobilization.
“Military qualification (mobilization check) has begun, which will cover approximately 230,000 personnel,” the report said.
Under this “control” will fall the men born in 2004 and those who were born from 1999 to 2003, but who do not currently have a category of fitness for military service. Those who in the past have been recognized by medical boards as temporarily unfit for service must be re-examined. About it writes RIA Novosti.
Military “qualification” in Poland became an alternative to conscription in 2009. Then they suspended compulsory service due to the transition to a professional army. From now on, they will collect information on the state of physical and mental health of citizens for their fitness for military service.
Earlier it became known that the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, spoke about what awaits Ukraine after the Polish takeover.
