The contractor has started renovation works on Krasnaya Street in Kaliningrad. For pedestrians, the section from Mira Avenue to Razin Street has been closed.
The workers have already dismantled the sidewalk and prepared the sand base for the new path. They plan to lay clinker tiles there. This was reported by the publication Kaliningrad.Ru.
The contract for the redesign of Krasnaya Street was signed with Mosengineering LLC. The contractor will repair the section from Prospekt Mira to Borzov.
They will equip the roadway and sidewalks, lay out a cycle path, carry out landscaping, etc. The cobblestones of the road will be preserved. The work should be completed by the end of the year.
Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Kaliningrad announced that the four-storey Soviet building on Mira Avenue in Kaliningrad will be renovated according to the project of Artur Sarnitsa. The facade will be tiled with brown tiles and decorated with a brick decor.
