Singer Rihanna recently purchased an apartment on the 40th floor of The Century condominium in Los Angeles. The apartment was previously owned by actor Matthew Perry, who completely renovated it and sold it in 2021 for $21.6 million. Rihanna paid $21 million for the apartment, but she’s not moving far, as she was already living in the building in a smaller apartment. The singer and her boyfriend, singer A$AP Rocky, clearly wanted to expand, as Rihanna is carrying their second child.
The 80 square meter apartment offers stunning views of Los Angeles including the city, ocean and mountain. The apartment consists of a living room with two fireplaces, a master suite, a kitchen, a dining room, four bedrooms, a games room, a home cinema and eight bathrooms. The apartment has four terraces.
Designed by Robert AM Stern Architects in 2010, the Century house has been popular with Hollywood celebrities, including Candy Spelling, the widow of filmmaker Aaron Spelling, who occupies the top two floors there, as well as Paula Abdul and Elizabeth Berkley. The building includes four acres of lush private gardens, a 75-foot-long swimming pool, screening rooms, yoga and Pilates studios, and wine storage facilities.
