Units of the Russian Armed Forces launched a group attack on Ukrainian armed formations in the Seversk region, reports RIA Novosti in reference to the head of the press center of the Yug group, Ivan Bigma.
Bigma said the fighters of the Southern Military District (SMD) Second Army Corps have achieved particular success. So, they carried out a strike on concentrations of personnel and armored vehicles of the 54th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, used several “Hurricane” and “Grad” rocket launchers.
At the same time, combat aircraft of units belonging to the Southern Military District successfully hit targets in the area of the Belogorovka settlement. There, among other things, there were temporary deployment points of the Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of enemy manpower and equipment.
In the area of the settlements of Novomikhailovka, Maryinka, Karlovka, artillery strikes were inflicted on the strongholds of Ukrainian nationalists. In addition, the Russian army was actively advancing in the Avdeevka and Maryinsky directions, according to the report.
