Smolensk bailiffs forced the motorist to pay 36 traffic fines

In the Smolensk region, bailiffs forced a man who had issued 36 fines to traffic police to pay the debt.

According to the press service of the UFSSP of Russia in the Smolensk region, the 47-year-old citizen regularly did not observe the speed limit on city roads, as a result of which the citizen of Smolensk had a debt of 27,000 rubles. Vis-à-vis the offender, the bailiff proceeded to explanatory measures which did not encourage the debtor to voluntarily pay the fines. The arrest of accounts, the ban on leaving the country and the execution of registration actions with property also did not help to change the attitude of the citizen of Smolensk to administrative sanctions.

As a next coercive measure, the bailiffs seized the debtor’s car. This measure prompted the man, who did not want to lose his vehicle, to hastily pay the fines received. The execution procedure ended with the actual execution and the coercive measures against the citizen were canceled.
