Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation

The first factory for the production of civilian drones will be created in Russia. This was announced by a representative of the company Transport du Futur, which will build it. The establishment is expected to open next year.

The company Transport of the Future has finalized the acquisition of a site in a special economic zone in the Samara region. It begins the construction of the first Russian factory for the serial production of unmanned aerial systems (UAS),” reports Izvestia.

To implement the project, a site with an area of more than 40,000 square meters was purchased. They will organize the production of seven modifications of UAS – not only heavy trucks, but also small ones – up to 30 kg. They will be able to transport passengers and cargo to hard-to-reach places, to help eliminate emergencies.

Earlier it became known that, according to NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg, the West should send even more weapons to Ukraine so that the Ukrainian armed forces can break through Russian defenses.
