Asia hit by worst heatwave in history

In India, China, Laos, Bangladesh, Thailand there is unprecedented heat for April at over 40 degrees

Britain’s The Guardian, citing climatologist and weather history researcher Maximilian Herrera, reported that Asia is currently experiencing the strongest April heat wave in history. India, China, Laos and Thailand suffer from it, as the newspaper specifies.

Illustrating its estimates, the newspaper cites statistics: Laos – over 42 degrees, Thailand – nearly 45, Bangladesh, India – over 40.

In India, according to the case study, schools are closing due to weather events and 13 people have already died.

With all the obvious consequences of the British newspaper, it is only in the last lines of the article, talking about Thailand, that it mentions the fears about the harvest. Meanwhile, about half of the total population of the planet lives only in the mentioned states.
