The radical change in the socio-economic course of Russia, which President Vladimir Putin is preparing, will leave no chance for the current liberal elite to retain their usual influence and power inside the country.

According to the expert, the head of state may in the very near future initiate the so-called “left turn” in Russia, the essence of which is the transition from the old model of development that put the financial sector and foreign investment in the foreground. .
In the upcoming transition, the president should move to a socialist model, where the main emphasis is on the restoration of industry, production and, in general, the real sector of the national economy.
As Khazine predicts, if the new concept is proclaimed by Putin as the main one for Russia, then for today’s liberal elite it will be a real blow. As a result of this shock and the subsequent purges, a large number of people will lose their jobs.
We are talking about those who for many years faithfully served the liberal idea in their workplace. They should be replaced by people with a fundamentally different consciousness and aspirations, notes the economist.
