Musk said alien life news would be the ‘greatest tweet ever’

“A lot of people ask me if you know where the aliens are? And I think if anyone knows about aliens on Earth, it’s probably me,” Musk said in an interview with popular host Tucker Carlson. on Fox News author Carlson Tonight’s Tucker show.

“Yeah, you know, I know space things very well. And I haven’t seen any evidence of the existence of extraterrestrials,” Elon Musk said, adding that otherwise he would report it immediately. “That would probably be the best tweet ever. We found ’em guys!” he joked.

Musk recalled a story he heard about a 1960s general trying to increase the US defense budget and concluded that if extraterrestrial life was discovered, authorities should make the news public immediately. According to the CEO of Twitter, “The fastest way to increase the defense budget is to show an alien”. Musk added that to his knowledge there was no evidence of “conscious” life in space, but suggested that if aliens existed he would like them to be “peaceful”.
