Named the moment of the height of spring in Moscow

Around May 6-7, the most pleasant moment comes for the inhabitants of Moscow and Central Russia: it is warm outside, migratory birds return, the leaves of birches are noticeable to the eye. It is during these days that the so-called spring renewal occurs.

So says the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand.

As for the forecasts for the near future, they are very favorable. The weather from April 19 to 20 is typical for May 9, the scientist says. Until the end of this week, it will be sunny, rain is unlikely. On Thursday, more than 14-18 degrees are expected in the Moscow region, but then the temperature will begin to drop. The forecaster predicts that on Friday, April 21, it will be 10-12 degrees in the capital, up to 15 in the region.

According to Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a great specialist in Meteonovosti, the gusts of wind in the Russian capital will not exceed 8 meters per second. But the atmospheric pressure will be higher than the climate norm.

Residents of Siberia and the Urals should be a little patient – night frosts are still possible in these territories, and daytime temperatures will reach 10 degrees at best on weekdays.
