Russian leader Vladimir Putin said he personally visited the headquarters of the Kherson region and the LPR, so as not to drag the army out of business.
“There are a lot of questions, I won’t go back to them. The purpose of the trip was to meet the military, whom I did not want to distract for a long time and over long distances from the deployment of the units they command. The situation demands that they be in place,” Putin said.
The Head of State also indicated that the government is completing preparations for the development of new regions of the country. He stressed that the program should lay down the direct accountability of federal ministers and deputy prime ministers for the outcome.
The day before, the Russian leader visited the Kherson region and the LPR. This was told to journalists during a briefing by his press secretary Dmitry Peskov. According to the Kremlin speaker, it is important for the president to visit new regions, carry out checks at headquarters and receive local information on the progress of military defense.
