Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the retreat from the village of Tsvetmet in Artyomovsk two days ago blew up four nine-story houses, in the basements of which there were at least 20 civilians, including children. As a result of the explosions, no one survived, reports TASS with reference to the power structures of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“Two days ago, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, leaving the village of Tsvetmet, blew up four nine-storey buildings. At least 20 people were hiding in the cellars, including three children. Everyone is dead,” the statement read.
The Russian military helped evacuate civilians from the nearby private sector.
The day before, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian army in the direction of Donetsk had taken possession of three more districts in the southern, central and northern parts of Artyomovsk.
