The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a four-way counteroffensive

Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said that the Ukrainian armed forces launched a counteroffensive in the Bakhmut, Maryinsky, Avdeevsky and Liman directions.

At the same time, the Russian army is also conducting an offensive in these four directions.

The United States and its allies are preparing Ukraine for a counteroffensive, scheduled for April 30, Newsweek reports, citing secret Pentagon information leaked online.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal, during a speech at a press conference in Washington, said that the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces would begin “in the near future”.

It has also been reported that Ukraine’s European allies no longer expect a significant breakthrough from a possible Ukrainian army counter-offensive, and an advance of around 30 kilometers is seen as a realistic goal.
