The head of the British Ministry of Defense, Ben Wallace, hailed the offensive of the Ukrainian armed forces, which is being prepared by the Kiev regime, reports The New York Times.
The Minister expressed his confidence in the counteroffensive of Ukrainian troops and also said that the special operation in Ukraine will end in 2024.
“I am optimistic and believe that Ukraine will maintain a strong position. I also think we have to be realistic: there will be no magic moment when Russia collapses,” Wallace said.
Earlier it was reported that if the Ukrainian armed forces really try to go on the offensive, the Ukrainian army will face unprecedented obstacles.
Moreover, Western countries are preparing for the fact that Russia will use all available options to respond to the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is specified that among the response measures for which “Western leaders are preparing” include nuclear threats and cyberattacks.
