The British Guardian newspaper confirmed that Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is still confident that he will succeed in fully acquiring Manchester United, before the deadline for the third round of offers to buy the club on April 28.
The newspaper said – in a report – that although an American investment company and an American fund are interested in buying a minority stake in the club, Qatari banker Jassim bin Hamad, who wants to fully acquire United, is confident in the end that his offer will be accepted.
And about the new sale deal, the newspaper revealed that the Glazer family, the current owner of the club, instructed the Rennes banking group, which is supervising the sale process, to examine all offers.
The newspaper says that Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad’s purchase of Manchester United will be debt-free.
On February 18, 2023, His Excellency issued an official statement in which he revealed his plan to buy the club, in addition to his vision for the future status of Manchester United.
According to that statement, the offer aims to fully take over Manchester United, in order to restore it to its former glories.
