The list of participating athletes included the Olympic and world champion in the high jump, Mutaz Essa Barshim, Musaab Abdul Rahman Ballah, Abdul Rahman Saeed in the 800m race, and Musaab Adam in the 3,000m race.

The return of Mutaz Barshim to participate in the round is a great technical addition to the high jump competition, which is classified as one of the most important athletes in its history, according to the International Federation of the game. Barshim, who holds the record in the high jump for the Diamond League rounds (2.43m), is considered the most prominent high jump champion in the history of the game, and he combined the Olympic gold in Tokyo 2020, and the third gold in the Oregon World Championships 2022, as the first athlete to achieve the title in the competition and be crowned with it.
