The roofs of three apartment buildings will be redone in Plyusse in 2023. This was reported to The Eastern Herald in Pskov by the press service of the regional operator of the Russian Revision Fund.
Repair works have already started in houses No. 14, 41 and 43 on Lenina Street in the workers’ settlement of Plyussa. The work is carried out by the builders of the company StroyEnergoMontazh.
It is planned to dismantle the old roof of the houses and to equip a new one with metal tiles. In addition, the wooden elements of the roof structure will be updated here and treated with a biological fire protection composition. The attic will be insulated and a vapor barrier will be installed. In addition, the workers plan to repair the masonry of the ventilation pipes. In the future, they will be plastered and sheathed with a profiled sheet.
Three houses to renovate in Plyuss
In the final stage of the redesign, the builders will install a system of metal gutters, skylights and install roof security elements (snow guards, navigation bridges, fences and stairs).
At present, in house No. 14 on Lenin Street, roof repair work is 80% complete, in house No. 41 – 60%, and in house No. 43 – 40%. According to the contract, the contractor must complete the work by October 1, 2023.
“It should be noted that modern materials are used in the realization of the works, the contractor works with “grippers” in order to avoid possible leaks in the living quarters. Construction control is carried out at the facilities, and a representative of the regional operator regularly visits the facilities to check the quality of the work carried out,” added the RO FKR of the Pskov region.
