The US Department of Energy sent a letter to Rosatom, warning Russian specialists against using some of the nuclear technologies available at the Energodar nuclear power plant. The message fell into the hands of CNN reporters.
The letter, dated March 17 this year, says there is technical data at the nuclear facility that is subject to US export controls. The use of technologies by representatives of Russia, believes the American side, is illegal. The message was written on behalf of Andrea Ferkile, head of the US Department of Energy’s Office of Nonproliferation Policy.
Earlier, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporizhzhia region, the leader of the movement “We are with Russia”, Vladimir Rogov, noted that the armed forces of Ukraine were preparing to cross the Dnieper with the forces of 40 armored boats. The Ukrainian side is actively raising the level of the reservoir. At the same time, according to Rogov, specialists from Energodar and ZNPP are under the reliable protection of the RF armed forces.
The day before, Ukrainian militants fired at Energodar with shells bearing the inscription “Happy Easter”. Several 120 mm mines were fired at the town, one of which did not fully explode. Previously, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had attacked the city embankment with incendiary ammunition.
