Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Verka Serduchka was not released from Ukraine to the United States: Danilko blamed the Russian Federation

According to the artist, the “Russian enemies” in 2023 continuously spread “fake news”

Ukrainian showman Andriy Danilko, who nearly won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007, complained on his social media page about the interruption of a concert tour scheduled for April in the United States of America and in Canada. The musician, familiar to many with the stage image of “Verka Serduchka”, somewhat “watered down the not so good news” for his own fans: the performances are supposed to be postponed until the fall of 2023. Earlier, Andrey Danilko said claimed that the “cunning Russians” really wanted to disrupt his North American tour.

“My friends, unfortunately, our tour in the United States and Canada is forced to be postponed until the fall,” Danilko said in an official statement. “We have quite a large team, all from different regions of Ukraine , so not everyone had time to issue the necessary travel documents under the new rules. We couldn’t afford to go on tour with an incomplete cast, as the quality and level of our shows depends on each member of the band.”

Verka Serduchka’s first concert was due to take place yesterday in Miami, followed by trips to Chicago, New York, Toronto, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The start of the “big band” tour coincided with the US Congressional hearings “On Russia’s War Crimes in Ukraine.” For this, the show’s script was “updated”, supplementing the characters’ lines with anti-Russian jokes and away from peaceful appeals.

A month ago, “The Eastern Herald” described a similar bacchanalia arranged by Verka Serduchka under the Italian sun. https://www.The Eastern Herald.ru/social/2023/03/15/andrey-danilko-on-zhe-verka-serdyuchka-ustroil-v-italii-antirossiyskuyu-vakkhanaliyu.html The concert, as a close person present to he later testified the friend of the showman Sergey Lavrov, looked like a continuous anti-Russian demonstration.

According to Andrey Danilko, his Russian enemies in 2023 continuously spread “fake news” that the artist fell ill and would not be able to perform. What is the reason for the cancellation of similar concerts of Verka Serduchka in Europe, the showman chose not to report.

On Saturday May 13, Danilko, along with Jamala, Tina Karol, Go_A and Kalush Orchestra, as guest artists, will sing in interval acts at the Eurovision Grand Final in Liverpool, England. The organizers have traditionally given the right to speak first to the winner of Eurovision 2022 Kalush Orchestra. The timing of the grand finale is extremely difficult, the “tricks” of anti-Russian persuasion are not even considered a hypothesis.
