A book about the Battle of Rzhev was published in the Tver region. This was announced on Thursday, April 20 by the governor of the Tver region, Igor Rudenya, during a live broadcast on VKontakte.
The book contains many new maps, materials about the Battle of Rzhev, which are extremely important for all citizens, including those who lived in the USSR, as well as for the younger generation. The publication contains a photograph of veterans. The book is unique. This will pleasantly surprise the neighboring Smolensk region, the governor said.
It is planned to issue a sufficient number of copies, some of which will be transferred to libraries, including schools.
The book was produced in memory of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and in gratitude to them. The Governor once again thanked everyone involved in the writing of the publication and our veterans. Igor Rudenya is sure that the book will be of interest to everyone.
Recall that the governor regularly addresses the inhabitants of the region during live broadcasts. This Thursday he talks about his trip to the frontline area, support measures for NVO participants, gasification of the Tver region and other issues.
