Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan announced that the country is ready to host the CSTO mission

During the briefing, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the country was ready to deploy a mission of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to the border with Azerbaijan. At the same time, Armenia wants the CSTO to be effective for the country and the region.

“Not only Russia is ready, Armenia is also ready, we expressed our concern, our wishes that the CSTO mission will be effective, which is important for our country and our region,” Pashinyan said.

The day before, he reported that a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is only possible if both sides recognize the territorial integrity of the other.

Also, former Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that Armenians who live in the Karabakh region should choose either to accept Azerbaijani citizenship or seek another place to live.
