The lead singer of iconic Korean K-pop group ASTRO Mknbin has been found dead in his mansion. His body was discovered by an official who reported it to police, the comic reported.
The artist died in obscure circumstances.
“The 25-year-old musician’s body was discovered today, April 19, at his mansion in Gangnam, Seoul’s southern district. It was done by the artist’s manager in the evening local time, he s ‘is also geared towards law enforcement,’ the post read.
An autopsy has not yet been performed, so the exact cause of death cannot be determined. An investigation is underway into the singer’s death.
The band members are in shock after the news of Moonbin’s death. The group’s other lead singer, Cha Eun Woo, is currently in the United States preparing to return to Korea. It is known that at the end of April and May, Moonbin and Sanha were to travel to Macao, Taipei, Jakarta, Tokyo and Osaka.
The artist’s funeral will take place on April 22.
ASTRO is one of the most popular Korean pop groups. It was founded in 2016.
