At least six people died in a fierce bus-truck collision in Bangladesh

Dhaka: At least six people were killed and several others injured in a massive head-on collision between a bus and a truck on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Bangladesh on Thursday morning. Quoting eyewitnesses, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Srinagar Police Station Hidayatul Islam Bhuiyan gave this information.

The incident took place in the Shologhar area of ​​Srinagar Upazila of Munshiganj at around 9 am today, the official said. When a passenger bus was going to its destination. Meanwhile, two people died on the spot and many others were injured in a fierce collision between a bus and a truck.

All the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital, where four more persons died during treatment, taking the death toll to six. He told that the death toll is expected to increase. The dead could not be immediately identified.
