Chinese language is one of the 6 official languages of the UN and also one of the most widely used languages in the world. The Chinese language actively broadcasts the UN’s voice and opinion to the world. It has made positive contributions to the smooth operation of the UN, dialogue between different countries of the world, and the promotion of multilateralism.
Wang Wanpin said that Chinese language is now taught in more than 180 countries and regions around the world, and 82 countries have included Chinese language in the national education system. The number of people learning Chinese abroad is more than 30 million and The number of people learning and using Chinese language is about 200 million. We welcome more and more people in the world to learn Chinese language. The spokesperson pointed out that the widespread use of Chinese language in multilateral fora such as the UN is a miniature picture of deepening cooperation between China and the UN.
