As a result of clashes between the army and the Rapid Reaction Forces (special forces) in Sudan, the death toll has risen to 600, reports Al-Arabiya news channel, citing data from the Ministry of Health of the country in East Africa.
“More than 600 deaths have been recorded in all Sudanese hospitals,” the television channel said in a statement.
Ahmed al-Mandari, World Health Organization (WHO) director for the Eastern Mediterranean, said 330 people died and more than 3,000 were injured as a result of the conflict.
Earlier, the Russian Embassy in Sudan spoke about the state of the personnel of the Russian diplomatic mission. According to the head of the consular department of the Russian Embassy in Sudan, Georgy Ambartsumyan, there are still employees who are not on the territory of the diplomatic mission.
