New Delhi. Nepal’s President Ram Chandra Poondel was on Wednesday admitted to Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) due to breathing problems.
Mr. Pondel was admitted to Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital University, Maharaj Ganj late last evening. His oxygen level had dropped drastically. He was brought to New Delhi airport by air ambulance.
According to sources, in the preliminary investigation, infection has been found in Mr. Pondel’s chest. He will be treated at AIIMS, Delhi. Mr. Pondel is accompanied by his son Chitan Pondel and others.
