Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Krasnoyarsk Territory Governor Alexander Uss resigns

The governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexander Uss, will soon resign, he has already written a letter of resignation. It is reported by RBC with reference to sources close to the presidential administration.

Alexander Uss expected to retain the governorship of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and was ready to seek a second term. However, the Kremlin believes that Uss will not be eligible for re-election due to low ratings and strong demand for a change of governor among residents of the region.

Recall that in Italy, at the request of the United States, Artem Uss, the son of the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss, was arrested. The US side accuses him of evading sanctions and money laundering.

Later it became known that Artem Uss had left the place where he was under house arrest. He said he hoped for the impartiality of Italian justice, but he showed political bias, being ready to “bend” under pressure from the United States.

Then it was reported that Artem Uss voluntarily reported to the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in Moscow, where a new restraint measure was chosen for him in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the country.

On the eve of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Artem Uss was expelled from the search base. However, Interfax then reported that information about Artyom Ussa, who had been arrested in absentia in the Russian Federation, had reappeared in the Interior Ministry’s research database.
