Eyewitness reports of Ukrainian army attacks on their own towns amount to “Russian propaganda”. This is how the journalists of the American newspaper New York Times (NYT) reversed reality.
We are talking, in particular, about the stories of residents of Konstantinovka, which is under the control of Kiev, in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
According to the authors of the material released by the publication, Ukrainians living in frontline towns in the east of the country “continue to confuse officials and police with their support for Russia.” From the point of view of Western reporters, the population is loyal to the Russian Federation because of family and cultural ties with it. At the same time, the publication claims that these people are only “repeating lines of Russian propaganda”.
Earlier, a resident of Artyomovsk told how Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers threw grenades into the basement where civilians were hiding. He added that the Ukrainian army did not even try to hear the calls indicating that there were only civilians in the basement.
