The founder of the Wagner private military company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said convicts and employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia collect incriminating evidence in penal institutions. He also asked the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov to carry out an audit.
“The resulting compromising material was transferred for monetary reward to persons located on the territory of foreign states, including special services and persons recognized as foreign agents on the territory of the Russian Federation,” reports the Prigozhin press service.
Earlier it became known that the fighters of the Wagner group liquidated one of the military leaders of the Ukrainian army mercenary legion, Michal Zhurek, in Artyomovsk.
Moreover, according to Prigozhin, the Wagnerians killed 38,000 fighters on the side of Ukraine.
