Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Rogov reported explosions in Kiev-controlled Zaporizhzhia

Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus Ukraine

A series of explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia, which is controlled by Ukrainian troops. In some areas of the city, the electricity was cut, writes RIA Novosti with reference to Vladimir Rogov, member of the main council of the regional VGA.

“A series of explosions sounded in the city of Zaporizhzhia, temporarily occupied by Ukrainian militants, and electricity was lost in some areas of the city,” Rogov said.

An air alert was declared at the regional center. According to the interlocutor of the publication, the Ukrainian air defense is working.

Around the same time, explosions were heard in the Dnieper, where the air raid siren also went off.

Explosions in Zaporizhzhia are recorded for the second day in a row. The day before, an air alert had been announced in the Ukrainian regions of Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava.

On the night of April 18, Ukrainian troops tried to break through the troops towards the Russian positions. The AFU attacked the same area where an attempt had already been made to break through. These are the positions of the 291st Motorized Rifle Regiment.
