Today April 20, in Orel, took place the inauguration of the press center of the young assistant traffic inspectors (UPID) on the basis of the nursery school n°85. The municipal administration announced it.
The UPID is a voluntary association of children. Its activities aim to promote law-abiding behavior among children on the roads and in the streets. Thanks to this, the formation of a thorough knowledge of traffic rules is carried out in preschool children from an early age.
As part of the inauguration of the press center, Natalya Shanina, head of the propaganda department of the traffic police of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry for Orel, gave a speech. She expressed the idea that today’s event is a very important event and a noble cause. A lot of work has been done, including the creation of videos, various interactive activities and participation in numerous road safety campaigns.
“We must strive to get all kindergartens in the city to join the UPID movement,” Natalya Shanina concluded.
Recall that in the Orel region, for the first time, the UPID movement was opened on the basis of kindergarten No. 91 in 2015. To date, there are already 31 preschool educational institutions in the city who have young teams.
