For the fifth day in a row, the war continues in Sudan between the Rapid Support Forces and the army, claiming dozens of dead and wounded, and resulting in stories that break hearts and make stones cry.

Among these stories is the story of a Sudanese citizen who sent a touching message to his two brothers, who belong to both sides of the conflict in Sudan, who has been living through violent clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces since Saturday.

And Muhammad wrote, on Tuesday, in his Facebook message, “To my brother Musab Jali in the armed forces, last night, God blessed our younger brother in the Rapid Support Forces, Jacob Jali, with a son, and until now he does not know about that.”

And Muhammad continued, “If he falls a prisoner in your hands, or if I fall a prisoner in his hand, tell him about that,” and added, “I ask God to protect you all in this battle, in which I see that the only loser is me.”

In a second tragic story, a Sudanese citizen told Al-Jazeera Mubasher the details of his son’s death as a result of the current clashes between the army forces led by Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and the Rapid Support Forces led by Major General Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.

In a tone full of sadness, the child’s father said in a telephone interview, “My son (7 years old) and I were on our way to buy some house necessities, and while we were walking on the road, suddenly a plane bomb hit one of the opposite buildings, and one of its fragments bounced off my son, splitting his head in two in moments.” He continued. “I crippled my son’s brain with my own hands. I am distressed and do not know what to do?”
