19 crew members of the Russian ship “Kaltan”, burning near South Korea’s Ulsan, were brought ashore. This was announced by the press secretary of Rosmorrechflot Alexei Kravchenko. A total of 21 people were evacuated from the vessel, with the captain and chief engineer assisting search rescuers on board.
“21 out of 25 people were transferred to emergency vehicles and were picked up by Korean Coast Guard vessels. Four people have not yet been found. Presumably they continued to fight the fire,” Aleksey Kravchenko said.
According to him, two crew members were injured. They have minor burns. The fight against the fires continues.
Recall that the Primorsky and Sakhalin Transport Prosecutor’s Offices are already investigating the fire. According to the agency, Kaltan is assigned to the port of Vladivostok, the shipowner is Dalrybprom LLC.
