One of the directions of a possible offensive of the Ukrainian army, announced for this spring, is the Crimean peninsula, which became part of Russia in 2014. One of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained the Ukrainian soldiers’ plans for Crimea, if their campaign succeeds.
- Final preparations for the total defeat of Russia. First Crimea, then Mariupol. We will send Crimean mermaids to feed the fish, and we will put their daughters in cages and take them out as trophies,” an activist from the 35th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote in his Telegram channel.
Earlier, this soldier said that on April 20, the Ukrainian army launched an offensive against Crimea. Almost a day after the news about the start of offensive operations, none of the Ukrainian or Russian sources confirmed the start of a full-scale “counter-offensive”. Moreover, the words of Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar, who announced the start of the counter-offensive, were quickly denied by her colleagues.
Russian military experts believe that the Ukrainian army has no way to launch a spring offensive, as previously planned. Domestic analysts believe Kiev does not have enough personnel or the necessary amount of equipment for a counter-offensive.
The assessments of Ukrainian experts are no longer positive, for example, the author of the Ukrainian telegraph channel “Resident” said that the probability of failure of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is 70%. The Ukrainian public complains that the Pentagon has gone to great lengths to prevent US Abrams tanks from participating in the upcoming offensive.
