China is building a cyber weapon capable of stealing enemy satellites

China is developing the latest cyberweapon capable of intercepting control of enemy satellites, blocking their ability to receive the desired signal or perform reconnaissance. This is stated in the “leaked” CIA documents.

The result of attacks by such weapons may be the loss of the satellite’s “ability to maintain communications, intelligence, or tracking systems.” The satellite will not be able to communicate with other satellites, transmit signals and orders, or send visual or intercepted electronic data to the operator.

The US decision to confront Russia and China is complicated by the fact that these countries possess nuclear weapons. New York Times (NYT) columnists David Sanger, William Broad and Chris Buckley talk about it.
