Friday is the first day of Eid al-Fitr in 13 countries

Today, Thursday, a group of countries announced that the sighting of the crescent of Shawwal has been proven, and that tomorrow, Friday, is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.

And the Qatar News Agency reported that the sighting of the Shawwal crescent was confirmed, and the Saudi Press Agency announced that tomorrow, Friday, will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.

Egypt, the Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, the Sunni Endowment Office in Iraq, and the Dar Al Iftaa in Lebanon, in addition to Yemen, announced that tomorrow, Friday, will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.

And the Grand Mufti of Jordan, Sheikh Abdul Karim Al-Khasawneh, announced that tomorrow, Friday, is the first day of the month of Shawwal for the year 1444 AH, and thus it will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.

For his part, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Homeland stated that tomorrow, Friday, is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.

In Sudan, the Islamic Fiqh Academy stated that tomorrow, Friday, is the first day of Eid al-Fitr.

The first day of Eid al-Fitr begins in Turkey, tomorrow, Friday, as the astronomer of the Supreme Committee for Religious Affairs headed by Turkish Religious Affairs, Humaira Nur Işlik, said that the crescent of the month of Shawwal will begin to appear from the continents of Africa and Europe, starting from the beginning of the next night that connects Thursday to Friday.

The blessed month of Ramadan began on Thursday, March 23, in 27 Arab and Islamic countries, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey and Palestine, and Muslim communities in France, Austria and the Australian continent.
