His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, received crowds of well-wishers on Eid Al-Fitr at Lusail Palace this morning.
His Highness – may God protect him – received, after the Eid prayer, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, Their Excellencies Sheikhs, Ministers, Undersecretaries of Ministries, members of the Shura Council, and a crowd of well-wishers from gentlemen citizens. HH Emir Al-Moufdi also received Their Excellencies heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the country.
His Highness also received the officers of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior, and directors of national departments and institutions. The crowds of well-wishers expressed their congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Emir on this happy occasion, praying to the Almighty God to restore it and the likes of it to the State of Qatar, its dear people, and our Arab and Islamic nations with goodness, right, and blessings. The reception was attended by His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of the Emir, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, His Excellency Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani, and a number of Their Excellencies sheikhs and ministers.
