Presumably, the target of the strike was the 110/10/6 kV Yuzhnaya substation. This was told by the authors of the Telegram channel “Military Chronicle”.
“Several days ago, Ukrainian drones attempted to attack substations in the Belgorod region: 330 kV substations in the villages of Blizhnyaya Igumenka and Dragunskoye were hit,” the statement said.
It should be noted that the incident itself occurred at the intersection of Vatutin and Gubkin streets – at a decent distance from the intended target. As a result of the incident, there were no dead or injured citizens, nearby cars and multi-storey buildings were damaged.
Earlier it became known that, according to information from the governor of the Belgorod region, the glazing of a nearby building was damaged, the explosion damaged several parked cars and knocked down power poles.
