Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Nissan promotes cooperation between the public and private sectors

Nissan has announced new steps to reduce the spread of counterfeit spare parts in the Middle East, as part of the company’s continuous endeavor to maintain customer satisfaction levels. Nissan has organized training courses targeting the wide after-sales service system, which includes authorities, partners and customers across the Middle East, to help them detect this type of non-original parts and combat their spread. Nissan continues its cooperation with government agencies in all countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, where teams are trained during these courses to detect parts that are often counterfeited, most notably spark plugs, brake pads, and oil filters, and to control the subtle differences between original and counterfeit products. In this context, Thierry Sabbagh, President of Nissan Saudi Arabia and Infiniti Middle East, and Managing Director of Nissan Middle East, said: “Customer safety and satisfaction are Nissan’s top priorities, and we are committed to our responsibility to protect our customers from the risks arising from the use of counterfeit products. And through our partnerships with the relevant authorities across the Middle East, we are taking concrete steps to combat counterfeiting of auto parts and ensure that our customers use genuine products that provide more levels of safety and peace of mind.” For his part, Mr. Nasim Morani, General Manager of the Automotive Division at Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Company, said: “Protecting customer safety has always been at the top of our list of priorities and concerns, and detecting and combating counterfeit spare parts is an essential part of our continuous endeavor in this regard. Therefore, we at Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Company believe that investing in cooperation with partners, coordination with the authorities, and training of employees contributes positively and constructively to securing the safety of our vehicles and thus protecting our customers and planting reassurance in their hearts. The auto parts market remains extremely dangerous for drivers, passengers and pedestrians. It also impairs the long-term performance of vehicles and negatively affects their durability and reliability. The training courses organized by Nissan fall within the framework of the brand’s efforts aimed at preserving intellectual property rights on the one hand, in addition to combating counterfeit products in the region. It included visits to more than 320 stores in the GCC countries during the past six months, with the aim of verifying the authenticity of its products. after sale in the market. Emphasizing its focus on the importance of after-sales products and services, the brand hosted earlier this year the Nissan After-Sales Service Conference, which was attended by partners from all over the region, with the aim of exchanging ideas and announcing the roadmap for future successes. The conference cemented Nissan’s commitment to customers in the Middle East and emphasized the importance of balancing digital elements with personal interaction to ensure seamless Nissan vehicle ownership experiences. A wide range of Nissan aftermarket products is available in the Middle East and includes more than three million spare parts, including genuine Nissan oils, batteries and accessories. Plus, over 500 Value Advantage® parts guarantee the same outstanding performance as Nissan vehicles and are easy to install and affordable. Nissan’s aftersales service network includes eight authorized dealers and 101 branches across the region. When maintaining their vehicles at authorized Nissan after-sales centers, customers benefit from a set of benefits that include warranty repair, technical expertise, on-time service, and other benefits.
