At the head of the Belarusian railway BELTA clarified that the train will depart for the first time on April 22 at 10:22 a.m. and will arrive, after traveling almost two thousand kilometers, at the Russian regional center on April 24 at 12:24 p.m.
And in the opposite direction, the passenger train will depart on April 24 at 2:47 p.m. and arrive in the Belarusian capital on April 26 at 3:12 p.m. As for the further schedule of the new route, it is already known that the train will run weekly on the Minsk-Arkhangelsk-Minsk route, departing from Sineokoy on Saturdays and arriving in Arkhangelsk on Mondays. On the same day, the train will depart in the opposite direction and will arrive in the capital of the Republic of Belarus on Wednesday.
For passengers, Belarusian Railways clarified, there are reserved seat and compartment cars, including a car equipped with a compartment for transporting disabled passengers. Also, when issuing travel documents in compartment cars, a dynamic pricing system applies, and in second-class cars a ten percent discount is applied to side seats.
On the territory of the Republic of Belarus, the train will stop in Zhodino, Borisov, Krupki, Tolochin, Orsha and Vitebsk, and on the territory of the Russian Federation – in the cities of Novosokolniki and Dno, Veliky Novgorod, Petrozavodsk, Medvezhyegorsk, and also in Belomorsk.
The Union State Transport Administration recalls that at present there is already regular passenger traffic between Belarus and Russia in the direction of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Adler, Kaliningrad, Murmansk , Arkhangelsk and Anapa.
