Peskov, in response to Kiev’s decision, reminded that in Moscow there is also land under the building of the Embassy of Ukraine

The press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, in response to the decision of the Kiev city council, reminded that there is also land in Moscow under the building of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission.

“Here too, there are lands under the domination of Ukraine. Obviously, appropriate measures will be taken here,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

Previously, the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, announced that the city council had canceled the ground lease with the Russian diplomatic mission.

The mayor added that the city council appealed to the government with a request to transfer this territory to the ownership of the country.

Initially, such a decision regarding the Russian Embassy in Kiev was proposed by the Servant of the People party.
