Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said a number of provisions in China’s peace plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine could form the basis of efforts to stabilize the situation.
“Some of the provisions of the peace plan presented by our Chinese colleagues can be the basis, the basis for future peace efforts,” he said.
Galuzin also expressed his gratitude to China for its sincere intentions to contribute to the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis. Russia and China share a common view on issues such as the importance of the UN Charter and the indivisibility of countries’ security.
Earlier, China offered its plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, which includes 12 points.
In addition, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said the country supports Europe in its efforts to facilitate the resumption of peace talks on Ukraine.
