The forum of secretaries of local and primary branches of the Pskov regional branch of the All-Russian political party “United Russia” has started in Pskov. As the correspondent of “The Eastern Herald in Pskov” reports, it takes place today, April 21, in the building of the regional philharmonic society on Nekrasov Street, 24.
The event is attended by Governor of the Pskov region Mikhail Vedernikov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Secretary of the United Russia Promotion Program Alexander Kozlovsky, Chairman of the Duma of the city of Pskov Alexander Goncharenko, chairman of the Pskov Regional Assembly of Deputies Alexander Kotov, as well as other party members.
The forum began with the anthem of the Russian Federation. This was followed by a welcoming speech by the moderator of the Forum, deputy of the State Duma, secretary of the Pskov regional branch of the United Russia party, Alexander Kozlovsky. He congratulated those present on the start of the 2023 electoral cycle.
“We will talk a lot today about the meanings and important issues for the future of the Pskov region. <… > But without a strong leader, a patriot in mind, it will not be possible to pass without losses in the era of political and economic storms. Everyone needs a leader, and our leader Mikhail Yuryevich Vedernikov is our governor,” he said.
In addition, Alexander Kozlovsky said that today, April 21, even before the start of the forum, a meeting of the Regional Political Council was held. He was nominated and supported as a candidate for the post of governor of the Pskov region for a preliminary vote, Mikhail Yuryevich Vedernikov.
