An assassination attempt against the mayor of Gorlovka, Ivan Prikhodko, was foiled in the Donetsk People’s Republic. It is reported by TASS with reference to the FSB of Russia in the DPR. It should be noted that the author of the failed murder Artem Pyzin was recruited by the Ukrainian security services.
“From the moment of his recruitment, he fell under the operational supervision of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” TASS quotes a representative of the department as saying.
In March, Pyzin received the task of monitoring the mayor. Later, he attempted to pick up a bomb from an abandoned building, but it exploded in his hands.
Now FSB officers are looking for those involved in the preparation of the assassination attempt.
Recall that they recently arrested suspects in an attempted assassination of the head of the Mariupol State Police Department, Mikhail Moskvin. Previously, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case.
According to investigators, on March 27, an explosive device detonated in a car parked near a residential building on Stroiteley Avenue in Mariupol. The car was a few meters from the policeman.
