“I call on all residents of the Tver region – to be extremely careful with fire. No need to burn garbage, dry grass. Guests in the region should also understand that in addition to our urgings, there there is also administrative liability, quite serious fines. We ask our residents and guests of the region to observe the rules of fire safety, ”Igor Rudenya addressed the citizens.
In the Upper Volga region, the necessary grouping of forces, means and material and technical resources of a unified territorial system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations has been created. In addition to employees of the regional directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, it includes specialists from IDGCs, employees of agricultural organizations, hunting, forestry and subsoil users.
Inspections of colonies, gardening, health camps for children exposed to the threat of forest fires were organized.
Work is underway to create and clean mineralized strips, forest roads, fire reservoirs and their free access with control of the presence of navigation signs, plowing and cleaning settlements, children’s camps suburbs and gardening associations.
Installation of warning signs and public service announcements in popular outdoor recreation areas for citizens, installation and repair of barriers continues.
Since the end of March, the forest situation monitoring system has been fully operational, including 60 CCTV cameras, a satellite and air control. Regular ground patrols are also carried out in forest areas, patrol groups work in each municipality, including along 11 routes of peat deposits in Kalininsky and Konakovo districts in Kimrsky district.
