The Kremlin announced the continuation of the line on the absorption of Ukraine by NATO. This was stated by the Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
Commenting on Stoltenberg’s statement that all NATO allies agree with Ukraine’s joining the alliance, he noted that NATO continues to show an aggressive nature, which has already been discussed in Russia, before the start of a special military operation.
“And all of this demonstrates once again to anyone who is inclined to think at least a little with their heads, the correctness of the president’s decision to launch this operation. Based on the interests of the Russian Federation and the need to ensure its security,” Peskov said, addressing reporters.
Dmitry Peskov noted that Russia faces an aggressive bloc that sees it as an adversary and encroaches on the security of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, a spokesman for the Russian president said Putin’s words about the possibility of using the navy in different directions are due to Russia’s turbulent encirclement.
